Ingredients

  • potatoes, cut
  • peanut oil

Method

  1. Preheat skillet to 400°.
  2. Add peanut oil to cover the bottom of the pan.
  3. When the light goes out on the hot pan, put the potatoes in.
  4. Flatten and push away from the edges so they do not touch the side.
  5. Cook uncovered until golden brown.
  6. Turn and cook until brown on the other side.
  7. Lift out with a spatula.
