Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Method
- Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, and cocoa.
- Add milk and cook over heat.
- Boil 1 minute.
- Remove and add beaten egg and cook.
- Cook 1 more minute, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
- Put in dishes.
